| | Reviewed by: Jbechtel 1 89, Shoots in the 70s Summary: Good golf course in the mountains of north central PA. It is a short course but there are a few very demanding tee shots and almost all approach shots are tough because of the sidehill lies in the fairway and the small greens. The greens are slow and undulating but never get old. Customer Service: The pro shop staff is excellent. Very friendly and always ready to serve the customer in any way they can. The food is also quite good in the clubhouse and the waitresses are pleasant.

| | Reviewed by: Michael Bonafair, Shoot in the 80s, from York Haven, PA USA Summary: Eagles Mere is a good old style course. Usually in excellent condition, the course plays tough through some beautiful mountain terrain. Not unusual to see deer or turkey in the middle of the course if your playing in the mornings or evening.
The price stated is curious since I've paid double or more depending on whether a member has called for me, but no comments on that.
The greens are moderately quick. You'll need a keen eye to read some of them. The staff is good, the food was above average. The scenery excellent. (especially in the fall, but plan on losing more balls for the leaves.)
Similar Courses Played: good staff, good food.
