| | Reviewed by: golf nut , Shoots in the 70s Summary: Private course that's still rather new. Trees need to mature to conceal some of the homes. In a few yrs this will be one of Philly's great courses. Excellent layout & course design (A.Palmer). Very few blind shots. OB on every hole. Customer Service: Friendly, professional service. Private course w/out the attitude. Extremely helpful to the guests of the members. Similar Courses Played: Great short game area. Two tiered, grass driving range. Beautiful clubhouse w/ patio & mixed grill overlooking #9 & #18.

This course will challenge all level of golfers. Bent grass greens/fairways were in excellent shape. Fav holes are 13 & 15. The back 9 seemed more challenging than the front. Customer Service: Excellent service in the pro shop. Tee times every 9-10 minutes. The pace was very enjoyable. Great food in the mixed grill & main dining room. Celebrity head chef. Similar Courses Played: Short game facility is top notch & is convenient to the clubhouse. It's great for practicing sand shots & 10-40 yard shots. The men's grill is a fun place to have a drink (or play cards if you're a me

| | Reviewed by: Arnuld Palmer, Shoots in the 80s, from wesley Chaple fl usa Summary: This is a great course. The bentgrass fairways & greens are well maintained. OB on nearly ever hole makes this course very difficult. There's a big premium placed on hitting a straight ball off the tee. Customer Service: Friendly people. Bag drop guys were helpful upon arrival. Excellent food (Chef Jim Coleman formerly from the Rittenhouse Hotel). Similar Courses Played: The best short game facility I've ever seen. Not too many Phila private clubs (ie Merion, Aronimink, etc.) have a short game practice facility of this caliber.

| | Reviewed by: jaime , Shoots in the 100s Summary: well, the course is long and fair. unlike the residents on this course(JOHN ASHDALE for example), i can expect to play a fair game. John should take better care of his personal life and not make such a mess of himself out on the "links", or he may get himself in a bit of a hole. By the way, the fact that many know about his "partner" can only hurt the game itself. Customer Service: ...... Similar Courses Played: 106 medinah dr. if you are a woman looking for a balding mid to late 30's kind of guy, than this is the place.
