| | Reviewed by: Stephen Kutz, Shoots in the 80s Summary: I will start off by saying that this course was in beautiful condition. The greens rolled true and fast. Be careful for they are a little tricky. The fairways were in excellant condition and your ball always sat up nicely. Now I'm finished saying nice things about the course. First, the speed of play is exceedingly slooooow. Nobody in front of us had any sense of urgency. Like they were the only golfers on the course. There were absolutely no rangers to speed up play. Then coming off the front nine to number 10 tee the starter bashed us for not starting on number 10! He was not friendly at all. I guess he forgot that we were not mind-readers and that we paid our money just like everybody else. It took over five hours to golf 18 holes. That is disgusting!!! That was our second time golfing that course. Our first outting there was similar to this one. I need not say that I will NEVER golf at that couse again. It was a terrible golfing experience (again). Customer Service: The gentleman in the pro shop was friendly.

| | Reviewed by: Zingermikey, Scratch Golfer Summary: Only play here when I have to for tournaments. Great course for the hack but only an average course for a better player. Some really dumb holes. Two par 3's look like they were thrown in after they finished the course and realized they forgot two holes! one par 3 is so uphill that you can barely see the top off the flag from the tee. All the par 3's are lame in my opinion. One of the par 5's forces me to hit 5 iron off tee. It has a 15 foot wide fairway about 200 yards out anything longer than 220 will roll OB. second shot is a short carry over a steep slanted hill. Poorly designed hole. Another par 5 is a severe dogleg right from a severe downhill lie. Your second shot is so downhill that you are better off smacking a putter down the hill because out-of-bounds is very close on both sides and you can literally get 100 yards of roll from slope. Course must have been designed by a blind democrat. Just makes no sense! A few of the par 4's are driveable under ideal conditions which is interesting. Maintenance of course is fine. Always in good shape and the greens roll true. Expect it too be windy but if you're a long hitter it won't matter because you'll have short pitches into most holes. One par 4 is nice. It's #15 I believe. It's about a 440 yard par 4 usually into the wind. A solid 280 yard carry off the tee will leave you more than an 8-iron into the green. Maybe the only legitimate par 4 on course. But with all the trickery and crazy, poorly designed holes coupled with the wind makes breaking 80 here not too easy for your average 5-9 handicap. I have noticed that handicaps higher than 10 typically struggle here while 1-3 handicappers who have decent length off the tee can shoot a few under par here easily on a typically nice spring or summer day.... Customer Service: Very good. No complaints on food. Small pro-shop. Range is below average. Similar Courses Played: all within 25 mile radius....

| | Reviewed by: phillychuck, Shoots in the 80s Summary: Best public course in the Lehigh Valley, and lots of bargain deals are available. Very challenging uphill, downhill, sidehill lies, water in play on a lot of holes, and extremely beautiful scenic views. Staff is very professional and friendly, especially the pros. Back nine is the better nine, but the front nine is growing up and becoming more challenging. Greens are very tricky, and when they keep them fast (which they do around tournaments) 4-putts aren't out of the question. Short par 4 17th is very picturesque, risk/reward hole. Windy conditions make this course a very hard one to score on when combined with the lies and tricky greens. Plays short, but don't think it's easy. Customer Service: Couldn't be better. Similar Courses Played: Great restaurant. Good food, nice prices. Good pro shop prices on some items are high, but there are great deals there, too. Nice range with grass tees.

| | Reviewed by: Bill Gundersdorf, Shoots in the 100s, from Hackettstown, NJ USA Summary: Beautiful, challenging and well maintained course. Spoiled by sourfaced, disrespectful and hostile course rangers. Send your money at a course that is happy to see you because these people aren't Customer Service: Excellant except for the rangers! Similar Courses Played: Restaurant was good.
