    Summary:
This is a farm course. The fairways are not mowed down and the rough [1st rough if you will] is not mowed well either. The course is not marked well and unless you are an excellent golfer, you will add to your greens fee total in lost balls. There was no ranger, which was too bad since our twosome was held up by a sixsome.

You could not be more right this course is terrible and that back nine is a terrible golf lay out it is like they payed the Arch. the money and he built a crap back nine and then ran off with the money. I played this course and i felt like I got robbed out of my money.

    Summary:
This course is so bad its even bad by Vermont standards. I realize its hard to maintain a course in Vermont but Bakersfield conditioning is so bad, you can't tell the fairways from the rough. Often times it's hard to tell the direction a hole is supposed to go! Also, the greens are absolutely the slowest I've ever played on. The course was a cow pasture to start with and then they tried to add another 9 a couple of years ago. They used a guy named John Watson who claimed he was an architect from Canada. I think he pulled a fast one on the owners here, because no one who has ever played golf at a decent couse would pass the new 9 as golf holes. They just cut trees on the side of a hill and planted grass! Including the greens, 3 of which you can putt right off of because of the slope! Yardages are way off because they did not complete the holes as they were drawn up. Number 18 says it is 599 yards but plays about 360. There are some back tees but no markers for them. It's just a disaster.

    Customer Service:
    Good.

Clubhouse is relaxing after a round, with cold beer and nice people. Definitely stay for a beer afterwards.
