| | Reviewed by: wmmiller, Shoots in the 80s Summary: Haystack is a very nice course in southern Vermont that features quite a bit of elevation changes and a few blind shots, as you would expect from a mountain course. The course is not very long but it can be tight. Greens are large and undulating. A round in September/October is an extra treat with some spectacular views and foliage. The course was in excellent condition, despite a dry summer. It is not difficult to miss the fairways, however, as some are very narrow.Mid-summer rates are about $90, which is too much. Look for the specials in Spring and Fall. Customer Service: Very friendly staff. Putting green but no driving range (that I could see.)

This course offers an array of shots which makes for a very interesting round of golf. Customer Service: The service was great.
