| | Reviewed by: Phil Ruth, Shoots in the 80s Summary: Alright, I can't just sit back and read as people continue to bash on Pajaro Valley. O.K., so it's not manicured like nearby Pebble Beach or Spyglass. It also doesn't cost almost $400 per round. Pajaro Valley has something these other places don't...VALUE. PV is a FUN course with a nice variety of golf holes offered in its layout. Golf isn't always about sparkling green fairways and velvet smooth greens. PV is a low key place to go and play with your buddies, grab a burger afterward, and have a chance to score a decent round. The course isn't meticulous, but it's good enough. After having played almost all of the courses from San Jose to Pebble Beach, I would say without hesitation that PV is still one of my favorite places to go for a good time. Customer Service: Usually friendly-never had any troubles.

| | Reviewed by: Tufar Ghann, Shoot in the 80s, from San Jose CA Summary: This course has become an embodiment of everything that is wrong with public golf these days. They took an entirely average course and have promoted and advertised it as though it were a "Golfing Experience", when it is no more than a typical muni hacker's dog track with nicely cut greens. Because it is on the way to the Pebble Beach courses off Highway 1, I guess they thought they could lure some suckers in, but if you pay the full $60 weekday morning rate, you will feel taken. Try the twilight rate instead. Customer Service: Pro shop guys are ok. Similar Courses Played: This is a muni course. Always was, always will be, regardless of how they try to sell it.

| | Reviewed by: joe, Shoot in the 80s, from san jose Summary: This course was slow and boring when I played it. It's basically the same as Aptos Seascape, but not as fun. It's uglier too. It really wasn't in good shape and seemed quite boring when I played. Customer Service: The staff was decently friendly, although they couln't get us out anywhere near on time. Similar Courses Played: The restaurant was pretty good, and the putting green and range are solid.
