    Summary:
Hadn't played this course for many years, went several weeks ago- what a fun course. Greens immaculate- best I've putted, pure, true. Great, old-style layout, no tricky bunkering or hazards. What you see is what you get. Not too long, but long enough to challenge. Lots of trees, no way to bail out to the left/right. Great set of par 3's, all tough.

    Customer Service:
As good as any course, no complaints

Reviewed by: Jarrett Bower, Shoot in the 80s, from Los Angeles, CA, USA

    Summary:
I play this course once a year. Very interesting fun course. The front nine plays pretty flat, but is the tougher of the two. The back nine plays up in the hills. It favors the straight hitter over the long hitter, there's a lot of trouble available if you spray the ball. Quite a few bunkers, but a lot of them are 'thank god' bunkers that save you from a far worse fate. Hole #3 is far and away the toughest on the course, a tight uphill par 4 with a creek and hillside on the left, and jail on the right. The second shot is 1-2 clubs uphill guarded by a tree on the left and bunkers.

The last couple times I played here the course was in good, but not great condition. The greens can get pretty fast in the summer, and the break can be deceptive. Anything above the hole on #15 is dead. Worth a visit.

    Customer Service:
Service at the course is o.k., at the resort, not so much.

Some nice stuff in the pro shop, but not cheap. Average rooms at the resort.
