    Summary:
I agree with other reviewers, this course does seem to have some drainage problems in lower areas. Did play in mid February 2008. Maybe, in the summer, water conditions do not exist. Nice layout, with little repetition between holes. A nice mixture of target and open golf. Course also has elevation changes. Not so much so that you cannot walk this course. Greens are in nice shape with subtle breaks. Overall, conditions are good. The front nine is pretty, with canyon views. The back nine is a mixture of mobile homes and condos lining the fairways. All in all a nice course. $30 to walk.

Reviewed by: Oscar, Shoot in the 80s, from Encino

    Summary:
Nice set of holes that wander from the 101 freeway through homes in a canyon-like setting. Playing in mid-February and catching the course in-between storms, the course was wet and soggy enough that many balls did not carry or run down the fairways. The course condition was quite good; however, it was not that outstanding to warrant its price in comparison to other courses (River Ridge, Buenaventura and Soule Park are all better for a lower price and I would be willing to drive and pay just a little bit more for Sterling Hills).

    Customer Service:
Had to wait a while for partner to show up and had wished for staff to mention practice area that appeared to be very good.

    Summary:
Positives - Nice variety of holes. A lot of risk and reward holes. greens are always respectable. always green and cooler temps for Los Angeles standards it gets a ocean breeze.

Negatives - Always, did I say always a little wet in fairways, seems to get very crowded, carts are mandatory in the AM. probably due to a little extra distance from a few of the holes. A little overpriced on weekends.
