| | Reviewed by: Randy Hughes, Shoots in the 70s Summary: Have played DC twice on two different trips...I like it. Greens are alittle slow but in very good condition, fairways are muni but playable, the layout works well, price is fine and I've always walked right on. The 4 sets of tee boxes means something for everyone and I wish my home track had half the practice facility. Its great if your staying in SLO. Customer Service: Great marshall, kept it moving, loves life.
Pro shop will help you out and make it seem easy.

| | Reviewed by: Roy 1, Shoots in the 80s Summary: Played in early Sept. 03. Beautiful course in a minimal kind of way. Many elevated tees. Very open. Good challenge. Interesting course. Very nice layout. No houses and it can be walked if you want a good hike. It's weakness is its conditions. I think the course has gone downhill since previous reviews. Some of the fariways are more dirt than grass. Very thin overall. Tee boxes are okay. Greens are very badly marked up, slow, not true at all. Still, for the price, it's a nice layout. $20-$40 range. Customer Service: OK Similar Courses Played: Has everthing you need.

| | Reviewed by: oscarlc, Shoots in the 80s, from Encino, CA Summary: This is a very good course off the 101 freeway in San Luis Obispo that is inexpensive and provides a golfing test for every level of golfer. This rolling course is wide open for drives, chips and putts as it has been only open for several years.
The course presents elevated tees, carries to greens over ravines, creeks, and water hazards, and long hitters can reach the par 5s in two to provide for eagle and birdie chances. There are environmentally sensitive areas for the local birds and snakes(?). The greens were in good condition, fairways well kept and the rough was not thick at all. Good variety of hole lengths and green sizes made the course challenging.
For the experience, this course is a very good value and a good experience to test your game as you can score well as well as score not so well, depending on the hole and your approach. It provides you with a better value than Hunter Ranch, but it lacks the toughness of Hunter Ranch. Customer Service: Very good. Well stock pro shop and decent driving range.

| | Reviewed by: Will, Shoot in the 80s, from San Jose, CA 95124 Summary: WHAT A BEAUTIFUL COURSE! I have played at courses that cost 10 times as much as Dairy Creek and they still aren't as good. Plus, for $20 weekeday (without cart), this can't be beat.
The course is maintained like a world class course. Because of this, the greens, tees, fairways, etc. are all a pleasure to play. Customer Service: Tee times are a breeze to make here. Because this course is located in a small town, tee times can be made the day before (sometimes). Similar Courses Played: This course is new and has a new facility. It looks very good and is well kept.
