| | Reviewed by: , Shoots in the 90s Summary: This course is everything I was hoping it would be. A true golfer's test, beautiful surroundings beyond compare and reasonably priced. Each hole has a unique appearance. The first three holes will give the mid to high handicapper some confidence for the round. Then it gets hard. Pleasantly hard that is. They just had a Q school event here last week. The greens do run true, but are wicked fast, with multiple breaks. Ah, it was indeed challenging, but fun. This is the best course in Southern California easily!

| | Reviewed by: keegs, Shoots in the 80s Summary: Outstanding course! Great layout, beautifully maintained. Desert surroundings are practically hidden by beautiful grass and trees.
Fairly challenging... some holes had US Open style rough! Fair layout, no blind shots. Greens are fast, roll true. Customer Service: good Similar Courses Played: range ok

| | Reviewed by: John Hoch, Shoot in the 70s, from Calimesa, CA Summary: One of the best tracks in SoCal; so good that pros from Palm Springs courses come to play on regular basis. Designed by Lee Schmidt and Brian Curley out of Scottsdale, have done a lot of work with Landmark. Course design tough but fair; no blind shots on course. Course starts off with 2 short par-4s, trouble off tee, but to score one needs sharp approach shots to stay out of bunkers and barranca. Par-3 3rd hole is exquisite; elevated tee shot carrys large ravine to green, a visually stunning hole; anything short, long, left or right guarantees bogey or more. Holes 7 and 8 are long, hard par 4s; seven requires long tee ball usually into wind; 2nd shot is mid to long iron into elevated green on side of hill; anything left is usually lost or unplayable. Hole 8 is long, elevated tee to fairway guarded left by bunkers, right by trees and barranca; narrow green heavily bunkered. My favorite hole is 16; beatifully sculpted par 5, downhill to fairway, well bunkered right; good teeball may give you chance to go for green, but 2nd shot may have to carry water, as large lake guards left side from 200 yds all the way to green. 18th hole 470 yds, into wind, tough to score; bunkers surround green, too far left or right ball will be lost in barranca. | | Reviewed by: Jonas Cikotas, Shoot in the 70s, from Irvine, CA Summary: This course was listed as the best course in the Inland Empire for good reason. One of the best layouts in Southern California. The course has some short holes (the first 2 par 4's are under 400 yards fromn the back tees) but they are by no means easy. The greens vary in speed but can be unbelievably fast at times. Not a lot of water hazards but very challenging for anyone. Similar Courses Played: Grass range is nice
