Additional Info:
This course is set back in the hills west of Temecula, away from housing and auto traffic. The course is 6,833 from the tips with 4 par 3's, 11 par 4's, and 3 par 5's. A couple of holes have forced carries over dense desert brush, especially #4. The fairways are in good shape, some of the greens had fungus problems. a few bunkers were hard-packed and in need of attention, but were generally in good shape and fair. Cart had GPS, but the system had some bugs that preented us from keeping score on it. A couple of times the GPS became confused about which hole we were on. The system also warn if the cart needs to get back on the path. We didn't like that many of the holes forbade carts on the fairway. This made the trudge from cart to ball and back tedious, and difficult to use the GPS course map to plan shots without taking too much time. Personal coolers are discouraged, but there was no beverage cart on the course. I'm glad we disregarded the warning. Staff was pleasant. Problems with a malfunctioning practice-range ball machine. The golf experience was good, but not great.

Summary:
A treat to play golf away from cities, housing developments, and noisy traffic. Read my review in the course description.

Customer Service:
Friendly desk and grill staff. No on-course food/beverage cart. Malfunctioning practice-range ball machine. Nice range and practice green. Onboard GPS problematic.
