| | Reviewed by: ecareaga, Shoots in the 80s Summary: Hands down, one of the worst golf courses in all of Los Angeles. The parking lot of pot holes and standing water should be your first clue that you’re in for a world of disappointment. Not one fairway on this course is completely covered in grass, and what grass is on the fairways is a cross between crab and patch grass. The rest is hard packed dirt. Some of the fairways appear to have been damaged by work trucks that have left huge tire tracks in the grass and mud. While waited for my partner to shoot, I talked to a worker who was digging up a buried sprinkler and asked him what happened to this place, he just laughed. Then there are the patches of grass that are so water saturated that it’s like playing off a wet sponge. What I don’t understand, is that the greens were in pretty good shape. Don’t waste your time and pass on this place. Customer Service: Ok. Similar Courses Played: Goose Creek, Black Gold, Sky Links.

| | Reviewed by: SpeedyH, Shoots in the 90s Summary: Like the reviews written before, the course is a long fun course. The condition itself isn't the best with divots on putting greens, patchy fairways and wood chips. The wind is a factor in the afternoon and can make it ticky.

| | Reviewed by: 7 iron assasin, Shoots in the 80s, from Carson, CA Summary: This golf course is no joke. Fairways look wide, but subtle mounds can kick a slightly wayward tee shot into the wood chips. This course is also very long expecially when the wind picks up in the afternoon. Greens roll true and are in good shape. Some fairways are drastically over watered and create casual water in the fairways. Bring your "A" game, because this course will eat you alive if you don't. Last three holes are three of the toughest closing holes in L.A. 16 = 210 yd par 3; 17 = 453 yd. par 4 OB left and right and into the wind; 18 480 yd par 4 over a ravine into the wind OB left. BRING YOUR GAME!! Customer Service: Outstanding Similar Courses Played: grass range 7 days a week

| | Reviewed by: Rick Hahn, Shoots in the 80s Summary: I had no problem getting a tee time a week ahead for a Friday but I hear the weekends can be a horror. The golf course was in good shape for a muni that gets as much play as it does. The greens were in good shape and true, the fairways were a bit hard, but didn't bother me a bit. When you're paying $25 for a round of golf in L.A., that's a good value. Plenty of length and with the afternoon ocean breezes it can be a bit tricky. In fact after playing the only round I'd played there, I overheard that they had some room in the men's club, so I joined up on the spot. Customer Service: Great in the pro shop and snack bar.
