| | Reviewed by: samarati, Shoots in the 80s Summary: This was my home course for 13 years. I played it at least 500 times.
A best buy. Low green fee, well maintained course.
Can be crowded, especially on week-ends. Lots of old cheapskate retired duffers can slow down play. (Don't get offended - I'm a member of that cohort).
Windy days will murder your score. I've played in 40mph winds here. I usually drive the ball 260 yards. On some holes into the strong wind here, I can barely drive the ball 120 yards. Ever see your ball hang up in the air like a kite on a string? It's a spooky site!
Greens are well maintained. I learned to become a good putter on this course and putting green. Customer Service: Busy shop tries to get the golfers on & out. I don't ever remember buying anything more than golf tees here. Not much selection of equipment in the pro shop.
Nice people operate the place. Similar Courses Played: Pacific Grove, CA - Municipal

| | Reviewed by: rbt, Shoots in the 90s Summary: Great little muni for the price. Some wide open par 4s and 5s, where you can grip n' rip your driver. On the day I was there, the wind definitely played a factor though, lengthening some holes. fortunately, the greens also hold shots quite well.
