I too learned here, and still keep my yardage card even though I am out of the military and have moved to Texas. I loved the distance challenge of the North course and the distraction challenge (water) of the South. A great course for beginners as well as seasoned golfers. My first birdie, first round under 110, first under 100, and first 90 were all at Baker.

Played the North Course, what an exceptional value! The course winds through a valley and there are many holes where you feel you are the only one on the course. Greens are slow but after adapting to the speed you will appreciate the changes in elevation and the nice conditions. Customer Service:

I have only played about five or six (inexpensive) courses, duffer that I am, but of those Adm. Baker is my favorite. The best thing about it is that like most military courses, it's cheap! $7 for a reservist E-5 on the weekend, can't beat it! But price aside, the course is nice. It manages to stay pretty green most of the year, and is well-maintained for a military course. Like another poster said, there are a lot of driver holes (few doglegs or par 3s) and the greens are usually slow. The north course is tougher than the south course. The clubhouse is new. A single can walk onto either course on the weekend if you don't mind waiting an hour (during peak periods). Similar Courses Played:
