Summary:
Welk Resort has two courses: the Oaks is a par 3 course (1764 yds./men; 1615 yds./women) and The Fountain which is mainly par 4 with some par 3 and 5. The setting is lovely, the courses are well maintained and rarely crowded, and the prices are very reasonable. The Oaks is perfect for a complete beginner (me); it's short and has some variety and you don't have the really good golfers rushing your play.
