    Summary:
My favorite course. If you are going to post a good score, make sure you do it on the front nine. The back nine is target golf at it's best. I only hit driver on the back nine once (#18). Course knowledge is a must. Your round will be a success or failure based on the way you play #11 thru #14. It's just a great golf course in every way.

    Customer Service:
    Friendly people and quite helpful.

One of the hidden Gems in all of California. You earn your score here nothing is given to you.Every hole is unique and different, the greens are as fast and smooth as any I've played on.This course is a MUST PLAY if you are anywhere near the Paso Robles are.

And also when you are leaving the course head East down hwy 46 Two miles to Tobin James winery for some of the best wine in Ca.

    Customer Service:
    good

    Summary:
This is my home course, as I live in Paso. I bought a Club Membership late last year, and I have to tell you, it's a killer value! I feel quite fortunate, because this course is THE best course I have ever played, and it is quite tricky.

The best part is the value. You cannot play a course of this quality in California for less than $80.00.

    Just a few helpful hints:

Summertime - It can get really hot (90 - 100 deg), so dress and hydrate accordingly.

Hole 11 is a real ball-eater. If you lay up right, you are hitting ~150 yards to a small green over water (the green is 1/2 surrounded by the water). And in the afternoons, the wind can be in your face, adding 1-2 club distance.

The front of the green on hole 18 is the toughest by far of any green I have ever played. If you find the pin in the front of the green, pack your stuff up and come back the next day.. (Just kidding) The green is severely sloped from right to left, and it's slick. You can find yourself with a front right pin placement, and be putting uphill, and the ball can turn around and run back down the hill, sometimes further than where you putted it.

I'm working on playing all of the other courses in SLO county, but for now, I can't put any others above Hunter.

    Customer Service:
Excellent service, helpful. Always accomodating. They do have stewards that cruise the course and keep things moving along, carts on path etc.

Morro Bay Golf Course, Los Osos, Paso Robles Golf Club

    Summary:
Not as good as they say it is...don't know where they got the idea that they are 3rd in Ca behind Pebble and Spyglass...not anywhere close...some good holes on front, quirky holes on back. Staff leaves something to be desired! Little snooty for Paso, thought I was in LA!

    Customer Service:
    Poor

    Similar Courses Played:
Horrible range, I'd rather hit into a net.
