| | Reviewed by: Dario, Shoots in the 80s Summary: Played the Lake-Mountain 9's last week. Great value from on-line tee time service.
Not crowded on Tues. Too many houses now, more than when I played last about 8 years ago. Lake was in fair condition, Mountain in very good condition. Lake bunkers need work. Greens on both 9's were good. Fairways were spotty, especially on Lake. Mtn 9 is quite beautiful and has some memorable holes and a more natural-appearing design than the Lake. Lake 9 is ok. Looks more typically Pete Dye. More blind shots, mounding, railroad ties, etc. Makes it harder when not familiar with the layout. Enjoyed the round and would recommend with the discount. Customer Service: Good. Had a 1pm tee time, but they said ok to going out "whenever we were ready" after our lunch. Restaurant food was very good and fairly priced. Similar Courses Played: Have played a couple other Pete Dye courses in Vegas area--Desert Pines and ??. Liked this one better, though condition was less good than Desert Pines.

| | Reviewed by: , Shoots in the 80s Summary: Played a best ball tournament here. Tough course, very challenging. You've got to play irons and 3 wood for some tee shots. A real shot makers course. You're definitely rewarded for accurate tee shots. The par threes, while short can zap you. The greens were awesome. Some tiered, but all ran true. No real surprises. If you thought your ball would roll a particular way, it did.

| | Reviewed by: PettyPoo , Shoots in the 80s Summary: One of my favorite courses. I'm a little biased since I won a little tournament here. Not a very long course but by no means an easy course. It helps if you're long and accurate with your long irons. Pete Dye design so that should tell you something about it's difficulty. Very challenging. A great course to test your skills. Valley/Mountain would pose the best challenge. Lake/Valley would be the easiest.

| | Reviewed by: user990, Shoots in the 80s, from Pasadena Summary: Great layout. Three nines to choose from. Played Lake/Valley course. The last time I played it was about six or seven years ago. The Nike tour use to play at this course. It was in much better conditions back then. Overall not bad for $39 on a Sunday (12:00pm tee time). Customer Service: Good. Similar Courses Played: Hitting off grass instead of mats.
