    Summary:
Played with my son, former PGA pro. Had a 11:00 tee time on a saturday. Played about 5 hours , to be expected. Nice facility, big drive range, looks like mats only. Good fairways and greens. Bunkers on all fairways. GPS on carts. 2 dogleg holes, everything else is in front of you, no trick holes.

    Customer Service:
It's American Golf. I'm not used to paying $70.00 green fee and cart being retired.

    Summary:
I’ve been looking for a place in the south bay area that is not over crowded and over played and I think I found it. I was told by a friend to check this place out and I’m glad I did. Played it on 09-28-07. The greens had been punched a couple of weeks ago, but they were not that bad. I like the established trees and rolling fairways, (newly designed course about five years ago). The rough is the typical spongy club crabbing grass that is so frequent to Los Angeles courses. Greens have some good shapes and design with a couple of challenging pin placements and some water hazards to avoid. Lots of bunkers that are also in great shape and come into play on some approach shots and on most of the fairways. Not a very long course, but because of some large trees, you do need to put your ball in good position if you want a chance to go for the pin. I hooked up with a couple of guys who were on the men’s club and they were a great help with some course pointers, especially with some of the dog-legs. You do take your life in your hands twice when you have to cross a pretty busy four-lane highway, so stay alert. This place is also smack-dap under the approach and across the street from the Long Beach airport; so if you don’t mind the sound of jets, small aircraft and circling helicopters you’ll like this place. $57.00 for a Friday morning with a cart. I will definitely make this one of my regular stops.

    Customer Service:
