| | Reviewed by: Golf-Duck2002, Shoots in the 80s, from Portland, Oregon Summary: I played this course in a Pro-Am match. The weather was great, especially for October on the Oregon coast.
It's a really interesting lay out. Most of the fairways are valleys with very steep walls. Generally speaking the walls are ball friendly, meaning that they give many errant balls "friendly" bounces. I'd never seen anything quite like it. I thought it was great for a change.
The course played short, but with wind I'll bet it is very tough. Perhaps that was another purpose of creating the "valley" fairways.
The course was in very good condition, the greens putted well. The coastal grass can be a little sparse without lots of water and care, but it was very enjoyable. Customer Service: Very cordial staff. Similar Courses Played: The building is old, but perfect for the coastal setting.
