Additional Info:
Bear Mountain Ranch, overlooks Lake Chelan, fairly new, its in amazing condition. Some Target golf but keep everything on the fairways. The GPS in the cart is helpful and is accurate. Gives "caddy" advice until youve played it enough to know. Service is outstanding, treated like a king. Well worth the money, treat yourself

| | Reviewed by: vmitch2, Shoots in the 70s Summary: An absolutely stunning course set in the hills above Lake Chelan. Some of the views from the many elevated tee boxes are just incredible. I Played it on a beautiful summer day and couldn't ask for anything better. As an added bonus, there were deer everywhere, some even bedded down right beside the fairway. Once you get past the beauty of this course, however, you begin to realize that there is a stern test of golf before you! Lots of elevation changes, long par 3's, longer par 4's, and a 630 yard par 5 with a third shot over a gulch as a finishing hole. The first hole's fairway is a little gimmicky with a split about 200 yards out on either side of a large fir tree. Other than that, the course is nicely layed-out through the hilly terrain. For a young course, even for ANY course, the greens are in outstanding shape - not a mark on them. Can't wait to play here again! Customer Service: Excellent. As it was our first visit, they were very helpful, particularly the starter. He provided lots of useful tips on how to play the course, especially the first hole. Similar Courses Played: Hard pressed to find a similar course, that I've played anyway. Terrainwise, it reminds me of Trophy Lake, and although Trophy Lake is pretty, Bear Mountain blows it away. Hole for hole, Bear Mountain kills Apple Tree - not even close.

| | Reviewed by: hnasdad, Shoots in the 100s Summary: Wonderful, beautiful, Immaculate, challenging, Fun, Different. Great time spent here. Excellent service. Course is sweet. Food is great. BMR breakfast sandwich is the best ive ever had. Well worth the money Customer Service: Super good service. From the moment you pull into the parking lot you are met with a helpful hand. Put my bags on the cart and got me started in the right direction. Tees on the first tee box, friendly starter. Courtesy bucket to warm up with, and was welcomed by a Deer on the driving range. Nice way to start a round I thought. Similar Courses Played: Desert canyon, and dont bother comparing. Not even in the same league. You get your money's worth at bear mountain.
