    Summary:
Fair course conditions at best here. Layout is ok and pace of play seems to be fair. An average muni.

    Summary:
I started golfing as a freshman in highschool. We practiced as Brookdale everyday for 2 1/2 months. The staff their were so generous. We were allowed the run of the course everyday from 2:30-till we got done. All the school had to pay was a couple hundred dollars. We never had to wait for anyone we were always given the tee times. They even let us play at half price on the weekends. I golfed all four years and brookdale was a very good learner course. I really enjoyed playing there over the years.

    Summary:
As has been said below, Brookdale has been steadily improving for the last 3-5 years. I enjoy the course, as it is much more forgiving than Meadow Park, with wider fairways. The 7th, 8th and 9th holes are fun, though I've only once gotten on the green, off the tee, on the 9th(slightly long par 3)... The 16th can be interesting, trying to go over the water and cut the corner around some of the people's property. You have to stay to the right or have some power to go over that corner and still be in the fairway. I play it safe and hit a 3-iron to just past said corner, to the right. 8-)

    Great!

    Summary:
Played last Sunday, cold, cloudy with a 10-15mph wind in your face on the first hole. This is a course that is much improved in condition since I saw it last two years ago. The greens and fairways are much better shape. They have even replaced some of the bunkering that was taken out before and put in some new turf. The course has good length and with a little wind can be fun. I shot a 37-39 with one bird. I'll go back. Didn't lose any balls but this dumb site wouldn't accept an answer less than 1-2.

We were done at 4:45 and the Restaurant and bar were closed! Boy, that encourages you to hang around and buy a beer. NO Service at all.
