    Summary:
I grew up in Tarpon so this was my home course. It's a good track for the money, especially if you go in the summer late afternoon. The last reviewer said it perfect, the course will make you hit every shot you've got. Wide fairways, lotsa doglegs, sloping greens, and even noticable elevation change, which is wild for Florida. I especially love the par 3 8th, a 9-iron type hole with a small green and guarded by bunkers. If you can shape tee shots, you can cut some doglegs and set yourself up for some sweet little approaches. Perfect risk-reward type golf on a scorable but still challenging track.

    Summary:
The course is very enjoyable and scoreable, while still requiring all the shots in your bag. Those who enjoy hitting the big clubs, will love the elevated tees, the wide-open feel of the course design, and a couple reachable 5 pars. Those who live for the approach shots, will have a great time shaping their irons on it's several sharp dog-legs. And those who enjoy a challenge may walk off the 18th green mumbling to themselves after the challenge of the back nine. The course rewards the smart, shot-maker and can punish the greedy golfer. It is well-kept all year around and rates range from $18-$28 depending on the season.

    Customer Service:
Service has always been excellent. The clubhouse attendant and the starter work together to make you feel as relaxed as possible. There are two beverage carts roaming the course on most days so you don't get dried out.

    Similar Courses Played:
The driving range has three normally-sized
greens placed at 100,150, and 200 to help you get a good feel on your irons, and is
large enough that you never feel crowded. The food in the clubhouse bar is pretty good, too. There's a quick turn area with a restroom and soda machine if you
choose to make a quick pit-stop.
