| | Reviewed by: Chris Hendrick, Shoots in the 80s Summary: I think this is the best golf course in Pensacola. I have played them all and Tiger Point is definitely the best. The greens were great and the staff was very friendly. They even brought me a discount coupon for my lunch while I was playing. I think they are under new management.
They have a new program coming out that gets you a deal at the 4 courses that they own - I will definitely beback and I will look for that deal Customer Service: Very nice people from the cart guys to the bev cart girl to the pro shop staff!

| | Reviewed by: T-Dub, Shoots in the 70s Summary: Tigers Point East. Wow. I cannot believe I spent $75 on this round (on a weekday morning, nonetheless). This course could be very nice with some new money invested into it and about a year of course closure and rebuilding. They should be able to do that with the extravagant greens fees they charge. The greens had just been aerated some weeks before and they still had sand on them. Some were white with sand. No kidding, some greens looked like a miniature windblown Sahara Desert with small ridges in the way the grass was growing. A couple greens were terribly scarred from apparent mowing machine mishaps. Some fairways were wet to the point of mud. Sand bunkers were fair. The only restroom facility is at an intersection of 3 holes (between 8 and 9, I think, with another hole playing up to it from the back). It was 90 degrees outside (no, not the cart rule) and there were no water jugs in sight. An upside was the water on the course (on probably 13 of 18 holes) was challenging and could cost some players several balls. And there was decent scenery of the bay. Customer Service: This round started out OK when we pulled up to the nice clubhouse and the cart guy brought our carts right to the car and loaded our bags for us. He then pointed the way to the pro shop, where we began a downhill slide. The pro shop guy was rude. No discount for retired Navy. You have to be active duty. Who ever heard of that at any other course in the Pensacola area? Yes, the city that houses a huge naval facility. The pro shop guy didn't point us to the first hole, didn't direct us to a starter, and walked off out of the pro shop when the last credit card receipt was signed - no where to be found when we returned to ask directions. Luckily, a local was walking the cart path and pointed us in the right direction. The cart girl was courteous and made good time on rounds. Similar Courses Played: I wish we had played 2 rounds at The Moors for the price of Tigers Point East(just a few miles and another toll bridge away from Gulf Breeze in Milton, FL). See my comments on it. It was $37 (weekday morning) - everyone was courteous and the course was in excellent shape!

| | Reviewed by: Fred Woodall, Shoots in the 90s, from Conway, Arkansas Summary: My son and I played on the west course on 7-18-03. This was the worst course I have ever played on. If my home course was this bad, they would fire everyone and start over. Greens were very spotty(some were actually muddy), rough was terrible, sand traps hadn't been worked for days(scum on water in traps). Customer Service: I was told that if I didn't like it, don't come back after I complained about the course.

| | Reviewed by: Bill Key, Shoots in the 80s, from Birmingham, Alabama, USA Summary: We west course was in the worst condition of any course I have ever played. They should close it until they can spend so money on maintaining it. I have played it may time over the years and at one time was a very nice course. We drove over from Destin just to play Tiger Point. What a disappointment! Customer Service: Fair

| | Reviewed by: Nik, Shoot in the 90s, from Kennesaw, GA Summary: Played the links course. I was very impressed with the conditions of everything. They had very good greens, excellent fairways and tees. Oh yea, they had a ton of bunkers too! Everything was well kept. If you are staying in Destin, make the drive to Tiger Point. It is cheaper and a lot nicer than most of the golf courses around Destin! Customer Service: Great service and very helpful. Similar Courses Played: None
