    Summary:
This course is scheduled to close as it has been sold. It is in terrible shape due to the owner not putting any money into it. The greens have bare spots and weeds. The fairways have bare spots and weeds. It is cheap to play here. There are two back-to-back holes that are challening due to a creek running across them. However, the course is on life support and just needs to be taken off of it so the bulldozers can come in to get ready for the houses that will be built on it.

    Customer Service:
    Friendly.

Reviewed by: johnny, Shoot in the 90s, from Jacksonville, Florida

    Summary:
This course was cheap! It was only 23 bucks or so after 2 on a holiday. Unfortunately my good things to say about this course end there. This was the second worst course I have ever played. It is basically a "field" course, with fairway next to fairway next to fairway etc.... so it was about as uninteresting as a course gets, not to mention that there were frequently people from other holes playing from our fairway. Of course those people were lucky they went to our fairway because the course's idea of rough is a very light layer of mixed grasses on a bed of sand, very nasty indeed. The greens are the worst I have played in Jacksonville, they were very inconsistantly cut and rough (much like putting on carpet). To top it off, I underestimated the distance away from Jacksonville (at least a 30-40 minute drive from points east of the St. Johns river. The Jacksonville area golfer's guide concluded its blurb about this course by saying it was the "best-kept golfing secret in NE Florida" I would concur, but add the word joke after secret.

    Customer Service:
Even here the course lets down, we called to make a tee time, the lady said they were not taking tee times, things were a little slow, just come on out, so we did, when we got there I went in and got a "I guess it is OK becuase it is after 2" response upon my revealing that I did not have a tee time. Pro shop service was surly
