| | Reviewed by: Joe, Shoot in the 90s, from Tampa, FL, USA Summary: What can I say - Saddlebrook is THE corporate resort destination in the Tampa Bay area (although The Westin Innisbrook might disagree). Where the big corporate dollars go, great golf will follow. I remember playing here once when a lightning storm came up, and my foursome left our brains on the course, playing with lightning striking all around us. Pretty stupid, especially since I later found out that 4 golfers were hit by lightning that day. But that tells you how much we wanted to keep playing. Great golf, at a relative value price. If you stay in Tampa, you should play Saddlebrook, period.
P.S. - they play the J.C. Penney classic at the Copperhead course at Innisbrook. I've played there, and Saddlebrook BLOWS Copperhead away. Customer Service: A bit sterile - like every place that caters to the suits. But you can't complain, when everyone calls you SIR. Similar Courses Played: A huge coporate resort. They know how to attract and keep their clients.
