| | Reviewed by: Marcus, Shoot in the 100s, from Woodstock, GA, USA Summary: Normally, this is a fair course to play. It's an inexpensive muni, pretty good for beginners or those working on their game. The front nine is pretty flat and open, the back nine is more wooded and wet. Mostly flat overall, but one or two holes have some altitude change. Normally, it's maintained like the average, typical underfunded muni, but the drought has been punishing. In early June 2000, the last time I played there, the fairways were torn up -- literally, like with a tractor or something. The greens-fees were slashed, but it pretty much is unplayable until they get the fairways fixed. The only golf game I've played where I was aiming away from the fairways. Ratings below are for normal, non-drought conditions. Similar Courses Played: Restaurant is typical grill and sandwiches. Shortish range.
