| | Reviewed by: GolfDawg16, Shoots in the 80s Summary: Currently in good shape. Greens are in good shape - a bit slow but conditions are good. Heard that the greens were in horrible shape earlier in the year and last year but on my visit today they were in good shape.
Overall, the best description of the course is narrow and tight - every hole is surrounded by either houses or interstate. Homes and I-75 aren't going anywhere so if you play here be prepared to control your driver. Road noise and dogs are a distraction and generally annoying. However, fairways are inviting and well placed shots provide good rewards for birdies. I personally liked hole 1 with its gentle downslope and large berms - provided a good launch point with a birdie providing confidence going forward. Other favorites were holes 4, 12 & 14.
Overall the course was in reasonably good shape, provided a good value especially compared to Kinderlou GC down the road at exit 16. I would look forward to playing the course again on a later visit to Valdosta. Similar Courses Played: Arrowhead Pointe State Park GC - Elberton, GA, The Chimneys - Winder, GA, LongShadow GC - Madison, GA, The Bear - N. Myrtle Beach, SC
