| | Reviewed by: Brian , Shoots in the 80s, from Atlanta, GA Summary: I used to work at Alamance and all I have to say is that it is STILL my favorite course. I could play that place everyday and not get tired of it. A great layout and a challenge every time you play it.

| | Reviewed by: Tom , Shoots in the 90s Summary: Two words - Donald Ross.
This is a private country club facility, so you need to know some one to get on. The other review from Justin was right on the money. A spectacular remodeling to complement the original Donald Ross design has created a great course for those who can get on to enjoy.

| | Reviewed by: Justin, Shoot in the 80s, from Elon, NC Summary: A beautiful and very difficult course, immaculately maintained. The price designation is ridiculous - it'll cost you a lot more than $25. Course gets very little traffic, and it shows - the greens are the best I've ever played, much better than PGA Tour host Forest Oaks, 1 hour away. This is a course that plays harder than it looks. The fairways seem generous, but miss one and you can forget hittin the green in reg. Course plays long - those who average less than an honest 260 off the tee will struggle from anything but the whites. Greens are well-bunkered and protected by mounds that force blind chips if your approach shot misses. This course will test every aspect of your game. Hard to think of any negatives, and if you read any of my other reviews, you'll see I am not shy about listing negatives. They even have a small practice putting green right next to the 1st tee box, just to give you something to do while waiting for the 1st fairway to clear! Similar Courses Played: None
