| | Reviewed by: Buffy , Shoots in the 80s Summary: Played in Sep02 -- A very nice Rees Jones layout. Good value for Myrtle Beach. Greens and fairways were soft, but not too fudgy (impressive given recent rain). Overall though, maintenance was not what I expected -- a few greens were sketchy, areas around water hazards were unkept and bunkers need a lot of attention. But well worth the visit (I did have my career round here). Customer Service: See above. No starter. Nice touch was a card on cart noting water and toilet locations on course. Similar Courses Played: An usually plentiful supply of toilet sheds on the course (must be designed for incontinent MB residents).

| | Reviewed by: jack syroid, Shoot in the 80s, from fredericton nb. canada Summary: this is an outstanding golf experience for two reasons...the course is fair and is a traditional lay-out with holes that have character; and it is staffed by people that are determined to make sure you enjoy yourself and who appreciate you selecting theircourse to play. it's nice to play acourse that isn't all tricked out with artificial gimmicks designed to punish rather than challenge!!greens were good although they did suffer some winterkill on onehole, maintenance was goodas well. there are better courses at myrtle beach but for the money there is no better value. Customer Service: service is top notch by phone or in person... bag drop staff great Similar Courses Played: range ok,golf shop ok pro shop staff outstanding
