| | Reviewed by: calvert huffines, Shoot in the 90s, from GREEN POND Summary: A superb course. Walking with caddies only. Already chosen as one of the best private courses for 2000. It has been equaled to Augusta National, Pine Forest, Semin ole....probably South Carolina's finest course. he only true Scottish Links course built in the Us for the last 70 years. Chosen by Shell to be the premier venue for Shell's Wonderful World of Golf event for the new millenium. Ernie Els and David Duval agreed that it was deserving of hosting a US Open. The condition of the course is the very best, and the greens usually roll at 9.0-9.5. Very difficult greens to read, but the caddies are very good help. The best course i have played...but almost impossible to get on...harder to gain admittance to than Augusta. Customer Service: no tee times necessary..course is reserved for only 80 owners Similar Courses Played: Other facilities are 5 star...very exclusive
