    Summary:
For golfers in the New River Valley area, options for good golf can be extremely limited. The Meadows is well conditioned, but a horrible course design. Draper Valley is beautiful, but a little to wide open, and the River Course is undergoing renovation, not to mention pretty out of the way to get to.

That brings us to Auburn Hills, which has a very challenging but fair layout. The problem with the course resides in the clubhouse. The club pro is an insolent jerk, and almost every else there acts like they have something better to do other than accept my money.

The course conditions are often piss poor. The fairways are left unmown for too long, the rough hasn't grown in properly and have deep pockets of hard, grassless soil. The greens are consistently unconsitent. The flag positions are left in the same position for too long, and all the trampling around the hole positions are really taking its toll. And on top of all the, the sand is only raked about once a month and have gravels in it the size you would find in your driveway.

    Customer Service:
    Abhorrent.

Nice driving range and practice green.

    Summary:
My over all experience at Auburn Hills was a nightmare. I had received a gift certificate for my birthday. A few friends and I decided to play a round of golf. I was thinking alright Auburn Hills, a free round of golf. Was I wrong!! I presented my certificate to the pro shop for my round of golf. I was told that the certificate was purchased at a time when prices where lower. But, the certificate plainly stated that it was good for one free round of golf with cart. In which the certificate had nothing about price change because of season or weekend use. The only date on the ticket was for it to expire in a year from the purchase date. In which the club manager was very rude, in his explanation, in how the prices have changed, because of the season. So I was going to owe like $15 more. I tried to explain my side of the story with which was mentioned above and yet an even more rude pro shop manager.
I will never step foot on that course again.

    Customer Service:
There is none. These people think they have some wonderful golf course, not a cow pasture with 18 holes.

    Summary:
Fairly new course. I believe they must of run out of money during course development, because they really lack a lot in landscaping. One pond on the course has about 7 feet of black plastic showing. The fairways are decent, but some of the tee boxes lack care. They are a bit over-price for the condition of the course. I have probably played 7 rounds hoping for improvement. The last round I played, play was halted several times when I was within 90 yards of the green, because the maintainence people would rush in and water the greens.....which not to mention made for terrible putting conditions!

    Customer Service:
Terrible. Pro Shop staff act as if they are working at a 5 star course. Weekend scout is rude. Maintainence people need to learn some golf etiquette!
