| | Reviewed by: jjohnson, Shoots in the 100s Summary: I played this course a couple of weeks ago. The greens were in excellent condition, and had good speed. The fairways were perfect after being renovated to Bermudagrass. The only thing less than spectacular was the bunkers, which need to be rebuilt. Customer Service: Everyone in the Pro shop was very friendly.

| | Reviewed by: nevada17, Shoots in the 70s Summary: I think a lot of people in NoVA are giving this course a bad rap. It's the only course in the area that you can walk for $39 on the weekends. It's long at 6800 some odd yards and the greens are decent. I garuantee that you cant find a better course for the money in NoVA right now. The equivalent to this course would be Reston National and that'll run ya 94 dollars on Sunday. It's a park course, but gives you the most bang for the buck!! Customer Service: Starter is friendly and will normally get you out on the weekends without a tee time. I've never experienced any buddy system incidents and I've played there over 25 rounds.

| | Reviewed by: jberry, Shoots in the 90s Summary: Played in mid August. Fairways, greens, and rough were the worst I've seen. uncut, unkept. The only thing that was cool about this course was that we saw a nice 8 point buck walking around the course.

| | Reviewed by: Scott , Shoots in the 80s Summary: I have to agree with the first guy, this course works on the buddy system. We had a group hitting into us all day while we were backed up from the group in front of us. The marshals came to give us grief.
The course is long, but playable if you bring the driver. The greens are very inconsistent, going from slow to quick, back to slow. All in all, a playable public course, but won't knock anyone's doors off.

| | Reviewed by: KEITH POPE, Shoots in the 100s, from STERLING VA Summary: COURSE IS OK -- SHOULD REDESIGN FRONT NINE, VERY BORING. BACK NINE OPENS UP AND MORE SCENIC. DECENT GREENS. WON'T LOSE MANY BALLS HERE, EVEN THOUGH LOTS OF TREES ON FRONT NINE Customer Service: THEY RUN THE BUDDY SYSTEM HERE -- I WAS A WALK ON SINGLE AND WAITED 2.5 HOURS AND DIDN'T GET ON, EVEN THOUGH I WATCHED MANY 3SOMES SHOW UP. I SAW STARTER LOOKING AROUND FOR SOMEONE HE AND THE GROUP KNEW RATHER THAN TAKING WHO WAS NEXT ON THE LIST. I SHOULD OF FOUND THE COURSE MANAGER, BUT THIS IS RUN BY PARK STAFF Similar Courses Played: RANGE HAS NICE HITTING AREA -- TOO BAD IT USES MATS THAT WERE PURCHASED IN THE 1970s
