    Summary:
This is a nice course that challenges you with narrow fairways. I always play when I'm in Martinsville.

    Customer Service:
    Excellent, very friendly.

Reviewed by: Dave Carter, Shoot in the 100s, from Martinsville

    Summary:
This is the first course I have ever golfed. It is a wooded course that is very spread out with narrow fairways. If you are walking bring a very light bag and start ea. Very hilly. Nearly a half a mile into the woods betweeen 11 and 12. I lost quite a few balls but it was my first time. The water hazards on 9 and 10 are well maintained but 13 is a mud hole. (Don't get close or you'll sink in.) The greens are very fast and well kept. The fairways are tall except on the back nine because they are deep in the woods. This is a very old course that was once nine holes soometime in the last 10 years the other nine were added. Makes for a fun day in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. Overall it was a great experience for my first round.
