| | Reviewed by: mike smith, Shoots in the 80s Summary: GREENS ABOVE AVERAGE, NICE T-BOXES, EXCELLENT LAYOUT, NICE WELL PLACED TRAPS, WIDE FAIRWAYS, NO PARALLEL FAIRWAYS. PAR 5'S ARE EXCELLENT. PAR 3'S ARE AS GOOD AS YOU WOULD EVER WANT TO PLAY. GREENS ARE A BIT TRICKEY TO READ BUT ROLL WELL. THIS IS A GOOD FAIR TEST OF GOLF. BFETTER THAN MOST COURSES ON THE "NATURAL GOLF TRAIL." THIS LAYOUT IS FAR BETTER THAN THE LIONS DEN IN DARDNELLE. Customer Service: EXCELLENT STAFF, LACKED QUALITY FOOD (HOT DOGS, SANDWICH ECT.) BEAUTIFUL CLUB HOUSE WITHOUT MUCH ACTIVITY. Similar Courses Played: COMPARES TO BETTER COURSES IN LITTLE ROCK, HARDSCRABBLE, HOT SPRINGS COUNTRY CLUB AND IN THE VILLAGE.

| | Reviewed by: ROGER PIERCE, Shoots in the 80s, from RUSSELLVILLE, AR Summary: A very enjoyable course that requires you to not only use most of the clubs in your bag, but also requires some shot shaping (mostly a draw) to score well. Two par fives over water can be eagled with a good tee shot. There is also a 135 yard par 3 with an island green. The speedy & well contoured bent grass greens require a good read to get the ball close to the hole & keep it there. A price of $30 (includes cart fee), a beautiful clubhouse, & a friendly & helpful staff will make for a wonderful round of golf. Customer Service: Very friendly & helpful staff. Similar Courses Played: Good food in both the restaurant & snack shop.
