| | Reviewed by: Mid70's, Shoots in the 70s Summary: as much as i hate to say, being that i grew up playing on this course, and learned the wonderful game of golf here, this place is just not a very nice golf course....the fairways, if you can call them that (there is no distinction b/w fairways and rough) are full of crabgrass and ant piles, basically impossible to play the ball down here....in fact, our playing group generally allows bumping the ball a scorecard length if you're in the fairway, so you're not being penalized for hitting a good shot......the tee boxes are all unlevel.....the one sandtrap on the course is what you expect from a course w/ one sandtrap....and last but not least, the greens, easily the worst part of this golf course, as of the last three months, have honestly not had a blade of grass on them.......putting on packed dirt doesn't make for an enjoyable round.....the saving grace, is that they run a coupon in the local newspaper once a week, where it's $30 for two green fee's and a cart....i would only recommend this course to locals, using the coupon, who want to practice their game on a course for little money Customer Service: very nice people, good food at the grill Similar Courses Played: my backyard, if i dug 18 holes in the ground
