| | Reviewed by: RJSims, Shoots in the 90s Summary: The course has gone through a much needed face lift. The back 9 is now the front 9, and they have completely redone the the old front 9 (if that makes any sense.). The portion of the course that they have redone has become much more challenging than it was before. Plus paying approx $14 for a round with a cart cant be beat. I enjoy going there as often as I can.

| | Reviewed by: bigbutch, Shoots in the 80s Summary: DUMAS IS IN PRETTY GOOD SHAPE RIGHT NOW. IT WAS TERRIBLE LAST YEAR BUT, THEY HAVE BEEN WORKING ON THE COURSE AND IT'S AS GOOD A COURSE AS YOU CAN FIND FOR $8. Customer Service: SOME ARE GOOD AND SOME ARE NOT SO GOOD.

| | Reviewed by: golfhacker85, Shoots in the 90s, from Zachary Summary: Dumas is an inexpensive municipal course that gets a lot of traffic. It's not great but then again, it's only $8 to walk. Really stretches the golfing dollar. Especially appreciate the fact that you can start at first light on weekends and holidays (1st come/1st served). I won't belabor the point that the two 9's are vastly different. This course is no pushover-- several of the holes really punish a wayward drive or approach shot.

| | Reviewed by: Brenton, Shoots in the 80s, from Baton Rouge Summary: This is a good value course. As others have said, $8 isn't much to pay for a round of golf. The front 9 has improved tremendously in the past 6 months. The back 9 is long, wide open, and has well conditioned greens. As everyone else has said, the back 9 is definitely a different course. I was impressed with the improvements to the conditioning when I played there in early April. It had been since late October since I had played there, so I really took notice that the course had improved. Customer Service: Ha!

| | Reviewed by: Jeremy, Shoot in the 90s, from Baker, LA Summary: For the price, a good deal. Especially for someone who lives in the neighborhood.
Holes 1 and 2 are too close to the traffic, dangerous. Front nine greens are normally dry, but with the weather down here, what do you expect. Too many bad lies on front.
Back nine is like walking onto a totally different course. Laid out good, good greens, good fairways, wide open. Enjoy walking the back nine especially because it is long and get a chance to be outside and enjoy the scenery. 18th is an excellent finishing hole. Customer Service: good customer service Similar Courses Played: None
