| | Reviewed by: Charles Duhon, Shoots in the 70s, from Lake Charles, LA USA Summary: Mallard Cove is a nice golf course. For years it was rated the best public course in the state. It hit hard times for a few years but 18 months ago the greens were rebuilt and some design changes were made to a number of fairways. The course is in great shape and very playable. Customer Service: Fair Similar Courses Played: Its strictly a golf course, has a driving range and pro shop nothing else.

| | Reviewed by: Kenneth Chandler, Shoot in the 70s, from Shreveport, LA USA Summary: It's been a few years since I've played at Mallard Cove but I don't imagine it has changed all that much. Mallard is a very well laid out course, I have heard it was designed by the Robert Trent Jones firm. Undulating greens, sand, water, and rough combine to present a stern test to the good golfer. I thought it was the best course in Southwest Louisiana when I lived there in the 80's. Definitely worth playing if you are in the area. Customer Service: Can't say Similar Courses Played: Grill, no pool or tennis
