Summary: Oakbourne Country Club is a wonderful test of golf that can be enjoyed by players of all abilities. All of the holes are framed by oak and pine trees which puts a premium on straight driving. The tee boxes are in good condition,as are the fairways(although the ball doesn't seem to sit up).The sand has been recently reworked and is more consistent and easier to escape. The greens are Tiffeagle and are smooth and medium fast(there is still some grain to be found on these surfaces and they are tricky to read). There is an interesting mix of holes.Unfortunately, the 18th hole happens to be the weakest hole on the course(a 90deg dogleg right). It is a course that I never get tired of playing. It is both challenging and fair. Similar Courses Played: None
