| | Reviewed by: Scot , Shoots in the 80s, from Lake Charles Summary: Emerald Hills is an exellent value for the not so picky golpher. The place is a little dated but the people are friendly and the course is challenging. Im stayed in one of the condos and it was very comfortable. Customer Service: good Similar Courses Played: Be careful in Leesville.

| | Reviewed by: Bob West, Shoots in the 90s, from Youngsville, LA Summary: I have played Emerald Hills three of four times. When I first played, the weekend package for three days of golf, a cart, and two nights in the hotel was $75. The same package is around $150 now but it it a great deal on three full days of golf.
The hotel looks like it was built around the 60's, but the rooms are neat and clean.
Last time I played, the fairways were somewhat narrow, but they had trees marked for removal. There was no sand that I recall, but enough water to make it interesting and some fantastic elevated tee boxes that seemed to make your drive fly for miles.
The people that work there were very friendly and I am looking forward to returning soon. Customer Service: Very nice people that run the place. Very helpful on the phone. Similar Courses Played: none.
