Reviewed by: Lars, Shoot in the 80s, from Baton Rouge, LA Summary: I live right off the the fairway at this golf course and have been playing it a couple times a month for the past four years. For being a BREC course, it is not bad. The greens, although very small, have been getting better and better and the fairways are nice after a good rain. The fairways are not irregated, however, so after a drought, they become hard as rock. Also, some large "bald" spots in the fairways. Overall, the course is easy and not very long. There is really only one water hazard on the hole, which lies off the tee on the 8th tee. Other that that, it's pretty much shoot and go with very few fairway bunkers and practically no "out of bounds". The most difficult hole, in my opinion, is the 14th, where you must clear a 50' wide drainage canal, while drawing the ball around a corner off the tee. Slicers will lose one here for sure. Not the prettiest hazard in the world, but fun to play. The redeaming thing about this course, is, of course, the price. You can't really beat an $8 green fee, anywhere. Similar Courses Played: The old lady who runs the golf shop is kind of scary, but she doesn't bite.
