    Summary:
I've played this course about 6 times. It has always been manicured. It has a good mix of hard holes and some easy ones and some middle of the road type holes. All of them are interesting in one way or another. You owe it to yourself to play this beautiful layout.

    Customer Service:
    Very good. Always helpful.

Reviewed by: Marshall, Shoot in the 80s, from Baton Rouge, LA

    Summary:
This is a new course. Less than two years old, I believe.

The greens are in very good shape. Don't have to worry about dry patches or aeration holes in the green. The tee boxes are all in good shape. Fairways, also. Didn't have to worry about getting a good lie if you were in the middle. Flags are color coded for back, middle and front. The yardage markers seemed to be a little off, however. Sometimes short, sometimes long. Noticeably so. Flew several greens because of this.

Lots of water on this course. Thus, the name. Water comes into play on pretty much every hole. Lots of fairway bunkers. Not very many trees. It kinda looks like a links course.

Very entertaining to play. I played from the gold tees and found it to be fairly easy to score well from back there. I am told that the tips are something else, though. I could tell they would be substantially longer. Some of the tee shots would be very intimidating.

They have two girls riding around in carts with refreshments and snacks - one girl per nine. Nice touch. There is a nice grill between nine and ten or between eighteen and your car. Pretty good driving range. Balls are free.

The absolute best thing about this course is the lack of traffic on it. I called on Friday morning and got a 9:30 tee time for Saturday morning.

On the whole, I would rank this in a group with Santa Maria and Pelican Point. However, this course would have to rank first in that group because of maintenance and lack of traffic.

    Customer Service:
Tee times were easy to make. Gave me a dollar off a sleeve of balls when I bought a dozen. Still not sure why.

    Similar Courses Played:
The restaurant is good. Typical grill at a country club. Driving range is great because of the free balls.
