Reviewed by: Kenneth Chandler, Shoot in the 70s, from Shreveport, LA USA Summary: Stonebridge is a new course. It is a Fred Couples signature course, but I don't think he had much to do with it. The course is very tight, with OB on both sides just about all the way around. Frankly, I think it's a little too tight, with too much housing development and not enough golf course. If you drive the ball straight, you'll like it; if you're crooked off the tee, you're in for a long day and a high score. Also, there is too much hidden trouble off the tee for my taste (i. e. hidden lakes). You need to play the course once or twice to figure out the tee shots required. Not the best course design. The club has had difficulty in attracting new members. Conditioning is excellent, with hybrid bermuda tees, fairways, and greens. Emelyn Aubrey (PGA, Buy.com tour player) plays a lot here, I'm told; I've seen him on the practice green. Overall, a worthy course, but bring your A-game. The club is semi-public, so anyone can play with a green fee. Customer Service: Very friendly and helpful staff Similar Courses Played: Clubhouse still under construction
