| | Reviewed by: Brad, Shoot in the 70s, from St. Louis, MO, USA Summary: I've played this course a few times since it opened. The layout of this course is excellent. The back tees are over 7000 yds and all of it. They are places that force you to work the ball. The greens are in good condition and good speed with many severe undulations. This course is tough. All sounds perfect right? Too bad they did not sod the fairways with zoysia or burmuda. The fairways are poor. They seeded with bluegrass and weeds and some hot, dry Missouri summers have punished it. The price is around $55 and is slightlt over priced due to how far west of St. Louis and the condition of the fairways. With a buch of money for water and zoysia sod, this would be a top notch course, worth the drive and $70 or so. Again, too bad they did not sod the fairways with zoysia or burmuda. I'll stick with "The Falls" in O'Fallon for $46 Similar Courses Played: Great clubhouse!
