| | Reviewed by: Ed, Shoot in the 80s, from Grand Prairie, TX Summary: Brookhaven Country Club is a rural surprise. New layout, carefully landscaped and in really good playing condition. I'm amazed there isn't an enthusiastic membership from all of central and south Mississippi. Condition of the grees, tees, through the green, etc. is exceptional for a newly redeveloped course. Placement is required off many of the tees to have a clean second shot, which is really interesting because there are not lots of trees or water in the casual sightline. From the backs, a good player needs to let it rip to have really good position to go for the greens. From the middle tees, is a good test of knowing what you want to hit and hitting it. Putting surfaces are true, with just a little mystery to the line on several holes. Water, moguls, bunkers, pampas grass, and native Mississippi softwoods are all eye appealing and come into play on errant shots. I really like what they have donee with this course. Customer Service: Proper attention to members and guests. Similar Courses Played: Competent, amiable people who know what they need to do.
