I know it is about 50 years old and the back nine is less than 20 years old. The greens are VERY fast and firm with some tricky undulations and always are in perfect condition. The fairways always seem to be in good condition although there are always a couple of holes where the landing areas seem to be a bit wet or soft. As you first drive up to this course it appears that all the holes are tree lined. This is not the case. Several of the holes are wide open and the wind can come into play on a windy day. He 17th hole is one of the more unusual holes I have ever played. You play a tee shot out about a 190 yards to a landing area then your next shot is 90 degrees to the right to an uphill green fronted by a pond to the left and out of bounds to the right immediately off the green. Definitely one of the more unfair golf holes I have ever played. But don’t let this keep you away from playing here. It is a fun place to play golf and generally not crowded at all. He price is very nice especially when compared to the cost of golf in nearby Eldon, Mo and the Lake of the Ozarks area where the cost for a round of golf is fast becoming way too expensive. I play here 4 or 5 times a year and always look forward to stopping by again. I would say it is a good 2 ½ or weak 3 *** golf course that gives one an enjoyable round. Similar Courses Played: None
