| | Reviewed by: john wilcox, Shoot in the 80s, from lawrence, kansas, usa Summary: This is a great course. It is built into the bluffs and hills near the Mississippi River. It is never crowded, and the views are great. Although the fairways are fairly generous, the challenge comes from the many hills and trees that are everywhere. The course is usually well manicured, and the greens are small, but in good condition. The par 3s are the most interesting with challenging shots from the back tees. It is a 9 hole lay-out, but is intriguing enough to play often. It is a little pricey when compared to other rural Missouri courses, but pricey is a relative term. Similar Courses Played: The pro shop is small and not very well stocked. The bar is nice, though.
