    Summary:
I ditto what the previous guy said. The ultimate hackers course. Back in the day we called it mudside. Haven't played this course in over 10 years but some of my buddies have. I can tell by driving by that the course conditions may be worse. I agree, the course needs to be sold to a good owner who would totally redo the course. If the same people still own Broadmoore, ditto for it too. Yea, you'd think after this long they could have paved that crappy parking lot. Green's are like putting on your back yard, maybe worse compared to some yards I've seen.

    Customer Service:
    Your kidding right!?

Driving range sits next to broke down maintenance shop that doubles for Sanford's junk yard.

Reviewed by: El Hacko, Shoots in the 80s, from OKC

    Summary:
This is a run down, dilapitated 9 hole golf course where you take the children to play or hook up with your drunken beer buddies for a round after work. This is NOT a course for serious golfers. The fairways are basically field grass with patches of the real stuff in between the cart ruts because everyone drives on the course even during a rainstorm. The greens are water logged as this apparently is how they keep them alive. I dont believe they know what weed-killer or fertilizer is at this place. Not a bad little driving range if you dont mind hitting off dirt. Don't try it after a rainstorm or you'll be hitting out of mud. The stone driveway is fine if you don't mind a coating of white dust over your freshly washed car. It's difficult to think of a poorer place to "golf" than anywhere I have ever golfed before which includes over a hundred courses. I would like to buy it, bulldoze it and start over. The owner should too...

    Customer Service:
I feel sorry for them too...

Cold beer is good. Golf carts are a joke. But lots of mud caked fun after a rain!!

    Summary:
This course is known around OKC as a hackers course, and for a good reason. It is practically a requirement that you wear no shirt, carry garage sale clubs, and use a colored ball with 3 dimples to play here. There are no real fairways or rough, just 50-60 yard wide patches of grass. No bunkers and the only hazard that comes into play is the water on the 8th hole. Maintenence of the fairways isn't half bad, but the greens suck - period. They are small and are all sloped front to back - no other undulations. No two greens are the same speed - ever.

Reviewed by: Sam, Shoot in the 80s, from Midwest City, Oklahoma, Oklahoma County

    Summary:
TOTAL WASTE OF NATURE.This is the HACKER course. Terrible fairways, tees, greens and clubhouse. We had to go back to the club house from #1 green to get someone out there to cut the greens. Anyone who rates this course good should be hung and their clubs taken from them forever. These people are the ones that cause 5-6 hours rounds on an 18 hole course. Mulligans, mulligans, and oh yeah, no divet fixing people. The driving range is a joke. I was hitting the back fence with one bounce with a 3 iron and the parking lot had almost as much grass as the hitting area on the range. OVERPRICED for the poor quality. Should pay us to play there.

    Customer Service:
Acted like they were doing us a favor by selling us a green fee.

Ratty club house. Someone should show them what 409 or windex is for.

Reviewed by: David, Shoot in the 100s, from Oklahoma City, OK USA

    Summary:
Busy 9-hole course with a very casual atmosphere. Water comes into play on several holes, including a long par 5 with a small green not far from the water's edge. No bunkers anywhere on the fairly level course. Old growth trees and quiet rest areas near one of the ponds makes for an enjoyable golfing experience. Maintenance is adequate with the tee boxes a little rough at times. Greens are cut very short however the often surprising watering schedule makes their speed a little hard to judge.

    Customer Service:
Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Tee times are not given, however despite the business of the course I've never waited more than 20 minutes to tee off.

    Similar Courses Played:
Snack bar serves burgers and sandwiches which aren't half-bad. Golf shop is small with usual stock of balls, tees and gloves. Range is the centerpiece of the course with 3 holes coming close enough that the range comes into play. Range balls are cheap- $2 for an voerflowing small bucket however the hitting area is used so much it's often nothing more than hard packed clay (or sticky mud) with a few patches of grass.
