The Deercrest nine runs into the woods near the Natchez Trace Parkway and is a standard tree lined layout without the intrusion of housing. As with all of the nines, the large undulating greens demand accuracy in shot placement and local knowledge for putting. A longer hitter can drive through the fairways on several holes and the par 5 8th is reachable in two. The Quail Run nine features more elevation changes and has a challenging par 4 with the 6th that offers longer hitters the choice of driving over a creek and playing a wedge or laying back with a 3 wood and hitting a long-mid iron into a green that depands placement. The par 3 8th is the signature hole and offers a 155 yard carry over water to a green centered at 175 yards. The last nine is the Dogwwod nine and is tightly woven through a residential neighborhood. The Driver will stay in the bag except for the reachable par 5 1st hole. The "S" shaped par 5 sixth hole on this side is a true par five with demanding shot placement and an elevated green. Customer Service: The staff is helpful and excellent Similar Courses Played: There could be a much better area to practice yoyr sna d and short game
