| | Reviewed by: JeffPlatt, Shoots in the 90s Summary: this is by far the worst golf course I have ever played. The VA course is much better! Would never play here again. Big waste of money unless it was free then it would be a waste of time. Customer Service: when we checked in they were nice (getting your money) after that they were rude, they lied to use and would chase you down while you were trying to drive. Similar Courses Played: have played at Indian Hills Golf Club, 100 times better and cheaper. Old Fort Golf Course, the best in the area and cheaper to play. VA Golf Course, this is a scratch course and still a better course. Also one in Smyrna Tennessee, much better course.

| | Reviewed by: mark.redferrin, Shoots in the 80s Summary: With doglegs, elevation changes, a prevailing wind from the south that seems to be in play on every hole, and the toughest collection of par 3 holes in the state, this course is a challenge to every level of golfer. I've been playing the course for several years, and it gets better every time I visit. Significant improvements have been made to the quality of the course, particularly on the 7th and 8th holes, and all the greens. There are a few risk/reward holes (#6 and 13), some reachable par 5's, and some impossible par 4's (4 and 8 in particular)!! The greens are generally fair but fast and full of undulation. Fairways are tricky-ample in size but difficult to find depending on just how much wind you run into.
This course is a pleasure to play and the best golf value in the area. Give it a try and post your thoughts. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Customer Service: The staff are courteous and helpful. Although there is not a regular beverage cart on the course, even on the weekends, the snack bar is always stocked with the coldest of beverages and the basic necessities to make it through the back 9. Similar Courses Played: This is the best value of any golf course in the Middle Tennessee area. The condition of the course overall is behind area courses, but the greens are challenging and well-cared for. Fairways are ample but at times patchy, and forget about the rough (bring an extra sleeve of balls). If you want a challenge on par 3's, this is your place.

| | Reviewed by: drew_bergman, Shoots in the 90s, from Murfreesboro, Tennessee, USA Summary: For a good afternoon-off-from-work golf-round, Blackberry Ridge
is a good course. The course is located right off of State Highway
231, north of Shelbyville, Tennessee. The setting is pastoral and the
surrounding "golf neighborhood" is developing at a moderate pace.
The course is challenging for the beginning to intermediate golfer. For
the most part the fairways are in good shape. The greens tend to be
fast and can sometimes be a little hard. The rough is not very
forgiving -- expect to lose some balls, if missing fairways is a
common occurrence in your game. The setting is very nice and
provides a good afternoon away from the office Customer Service: No complaints here. The staff is good-
natured and friendly in a laid-back,
southern style. Similar Courses Played: The driving range is kept up well. The
clubhouse provides the essentials, golf
equipment and a snack bar.
