    Summary:
Beautiful course layout among the many cedars of rutherford county, tennessee. This relatively new course offers a serious challenge to every golfer, especially those who like to "grip it and rip it". An open front nine makes scoring seem easy, and gives you the feeling that your going to score your lowest round ever. But wait until 10!! The back nine is lined from hole to hole with cedar trees left and right, and the 'rough' is really rough, consisting of mostly limestone rock and, you guessed it, cedars. Though the overall yardage is somewhat short, the back side plays much tougher. Accuracy off the tee is a must if you want to keep up that record setting round.
The signature hole (or at least mine) is the short par 3 3rd, playing around 140 from the whites. Hitting downhill to a 2-tiered green that slopes back to front, surrounded on the front and left by a small pond and, suprise, cedars on the right, make for an enjoyable but challenging beginning to your round. Plays 1/2 to 1 full club less than what you think you should play. Trust me on this one.
    The course has many dogleg fairways which force you to put the ball on the proper side, but not impossible unless your in the rough. Though still working on the grass in the fairways (currently at a consistent mixture of bermuda grass and weeds), the greens are much improved;
your putts will role smoothly(as compared with a couple of years back when it was hard to tell where the green grass was). Still some work to be done to the water hazzards on 9 and 11, but overall the layout is great. And at under $30 per round including cart, you can't beat the value.

    Customer Service:
Very good. Tee times are easy to get, even at the last minute, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Not sure if they offer private lessons. We even had our cart brought to our car for club pickup!! How's that for service.

    Similar Courses Played:
Typical food and beverage selection. The clubhouse (beautiful, a must see) can be reserved for private parties, and I think catering is also possible.

    Summary:
This course has one of the best course designs I have ever seen. The course isn't in the best of condition but they try to do their best to keep it good. The course is very young and offers a good challenge for any skill level. Pace of play can be slow due to the very less experienced golfers. When this course gets water it will be top notch. Could use more water and a few more bunkers. Still the course is cheap to play and always get worked in quick.

    Customer Service:
    Good

Range was good. Hit off of thick green grass.

    Summary:
This golf course has been improving steadily for the past two years. In the begining it was rough, VERY rough. But now, it has filled in quite a bit and is a much nicer course than when it opened.

    Customer Service:
    Very, very friendly.

The snack bar is supposed to be really good. I have yet to try it personally. They rent out the clubhouse (all cedar timber cut from the golf course grounds) is available for weddings and other events

    Summary:
Played this course last yr. when it first opened. The low greens fee should have been a warning. Grass in the fairways is sparce and the greens are only a little better. Lots of rocks in the rough so watch out. Some of the holes are very tight and challenging with little margin for error. It needs at least another yr. and a lot of work for it to be ready to play.

    Customer Service:
Absolutely no problem making a tee time.

Very nice log cabin clubhouse and facilities. Friendly staff.
